Here is the step-by-step guide to download the IGNOU PhD Admit Card 2021.
IGNOU PhD Admit Card 2021: The Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU is expected to release the admit cards for the IGNOU PhD Exam 2021 soon on the official website — ignou.nta.ac.in. The candidate has to download the IGNOU PhD Exam 2021 admit card from the NTA website and appear for the examination at the given centre on date, timing and discipline as indicated on their admit card.
“In case candidates are unable to download Admit Cards from the website, they may approach the Help Line (011-40759000) between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm,” read the official notice.
Along with IGNOU PhD Exam 2022 admit cards, candidates are required to bring with them an original proof of identity having a photograph, such as an Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card, Driving License, Passport and ID card issued by government agencies.
As per the schedule, NTA will conduct the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU PhD) entrance examination 2021 for admission to various PhD courses on February 24, 2022 for the ACADEMIC SESSION 2021-22.
How to download the IGNOU PhD Admit Card 2021:
- Log to the official website, ignou.nta.ac.in
- On the homepage, click on, “IGNOU PhD 2021 Admit Card”
- Enter your credentials and click on submit
- Your IGNOU PhD Admit Card 2021 will be displayed
- Download it and take the print out of the same.

- Mode of examination — LAN based CBT (Computer Based Test)
- Test duration — 3 hours
- Number of questions — 100
- Medium of paper — Hindi/English
- Total marks — 400 marks per question
- Negative marking — No negative marking
Brief advisory regarding the Covid-19 pandemic:
Candidates are advised to carry only the following with them into the examination venue:
a) Admit card along with a self-declaration (undertaking) downloaded from the nta website (a clear printout on a4 size paper) duly filled in.
b) A simple transparent ballpoint pen.
c) Additional photograph, to be pasted on the attendance sheet
d) Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml).
e) Personal transparent water bottle.
f) Sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) if the candidate is diabetic.
