J&K Health and Medical Education Department || Terms and conditions of service of presiding officer:

The presiding officer of the Appellate Tribunals shall hold office for a terms of five years from the date on which he assumes office or untill he attains age of 65 years, which ever is earlier.

Qualification and terms of office of Appellate Tribunal:

No person shall be qualified for appointment as a presiding officer of an Appellate tribunals unless he or she has been a districts judge and has not attained the age of 65years on the date of appointment and shall be a permanent residence of the UT of Jammu and kashmir.
