Selection list of 1000 youth for free coaching of UPSC Civil Services Examination declared Today

Selection list of 1000 youth for free coaching of UPSC Civil Services Examination under PARVAAZ scheme declared today by Mission Youth. Besides aiding Coaching Centres in Universities, govt has also started process to establish residential Coaching Institutes at Srinagar & Jammu.

PARVAAZ Qualifying Test (PQT) was conducted by Mission Youth on 15-05-2022 for selection of candidates for the IAS/JKAS coaching program to be run by Mission Youth and the result of the examination was declared on 28-06-2022. As per the notifications issued regarding the same, 30% of
the seats were reserved for females and the minimum cut-off score in PQT for consideration for the coaching program was kept as 75. 1197 candidates who had scored 100 or above in the PQT were further called for document verification through online mode. In response, 879 candidates submitted
(Selection list of 1000 youth for free coaching of UPSC Civil Services Examination) documents online for scrutiny as per the eligibility criteria of the scheme. The candidates who submitted documentary proof that they had cleared last two Preliminary examinations of IAS/JKAS
have been given the additional 10% marks as per the notification of the scheme and final score has
been derived after accounting for the same. Based on the outcome of the document verification, the
provisional selection list of selected/rejected/provisional candidates (Selection list of 1000 youth for free coaching of UPSC Civil Services Examination) is being issued.
Based on the outcome of online document verification, the General/Open(Selection list of 1000 youth for free coaching of UPSC Civil Services Examination) Merit list of candidates
with rank/score/result-status is enclosed as Annexure-A and the List of female candidates with
rank/score/result-status considered under reserved category is enclosed as Annexure-B.

Post document verification, there is shortfall of female candidates against the total number of seats reserved as per the 30% quota. In view of the same, all the female candidates who have scored between (Selection list of 1000 youth for free coaching of UPSC Civil Services Examination)75 and 99 (both included) are also intimated to submit documents in physical/offline mode. The list of such female candidates is enclosed as Annexure-D. These female candidates are also intimated to keep their documents ready and attend offline document verification as per the
details given under Important Points below.

However, even after consideration of all the female candidates who had qualified the PQT, there is still a shortfall of candidates against the number of seats available. Accordingly, the unfilled reserved
seats have been diverted for male candidates from Open Quota (list attached as Annexure-C).

The candidature of candidates who have failed to submit one/more documents, /or have some
discrepancy in their documents submitted, /or there is(Selection list of 1000 youth for free coaching of UPSC Civil Services Examination) clarity required regarding one/more documents etc has been kept Provisional and are being given one last opportunity.
