Engagement of Panchayat Level Krishi Udyamis (KUs) for Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) in Pulwama District
Applications are invited for the engagement of Panchayat Level Krishi Udyamis (KUs) on a contractual basis for 66 Panchayats of Pulwama under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme., These KUs will serve as agricultural entrepreneurs at the Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) established across the district.

- Number of Positions: 66 positions across designated Panchayats
- Engagement Duration: 2 years (subject to extension based on satisfactory performance)
- Qualification:
- Required: Diploma or Graduation in Agriculture & Allied Fields (B.Sc, BVSc, etc.)
- Preferred: Candidates with post-graduate qualifications or certificates in Agriculture & Allied sectors.

- Remuneration: Self-earning/entrepreneur-based model as per the operations of Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs).
Job Profile:
The selected KUs will work as Franchisee Operators, responsible for managing Kisan Khidmat Ghars. These centers serve as one-stop service points, providing crucial agricultural advisory and information services at the Panchayat level. KUs will also facilitate farmers with access to schemes, technology, training, and financial support, helping bridge the extension worker-to-farmer ratio gap.

Application Process:
- Interested candidates must submit their application forms (available at the District Development Commissioner’s Office or the official website),along with necessary documents such as certificates and proof of age.
- Applications should be submitted to the Chief Agriculture Officer, Pulwama, within 15 days from the publication of this notification.
General Terms & Conditions:
- KUs will not be entitled to any regular appointment and will work on a franchisee basis.
- A refundable security deposit of INR 10,000 is required for each selected KU.
- The KUs will undergo training and skill enhancement programs provided by the Agriculture Department and allied institutions.
- KUs will be required to follow specific standards for providing services, including compliance with input license regulations.,
