🎯 Eligibility Criteria
✔ For Anganwadi Workers (Sanginis)
- Gender: Only female candidates
- Domicile: UT of Jammu & Kashmir
- Age Limit: 18–37 years as on 01-01-2026
- Residence: Must belong to the same electoral ward
- Educational Qualification:
- Minimum: 10+2
- Maximum: Graduation
If no 10+2 qualified candidate is available in the same ward, a candidate from the adjoining ward may be considered with prior approval.
✔ For Anganwadi Helpers (Sahayikas)
- Gender: Only female candidates
- Domicile: UT of J&K
- Age Limit: 18–37 years
- Residence: Same electoral ward
- Minimum Qualification: Matriculation
- If no matriculate candidate is available, 8th pass candidates may be considered.
Preference will be given to needy and destitute married women, as per rules.
📝 Selection Process
Selection will be purely merit-based and transparent.
For Sanginis
- Merit prepared based on 10+2 marks
- Higher marks = higher priority
- In case of tie, older candidate gets preference
- Candidates with education higher than graduation will not be considered
For Sahayikas
- Selection restricted to ward residents
- Merit based on qualification criteria
- Committee may prefer married needy women first
Candidates belonging to the family of retiring AWW/AWH will receive an additional 2% weightage, subject to rules.
