Admission Notice: Islamia College of Science and Commerce, Srinagar, Launches DYD (FYUG) Programme for 2024-25
The Islamia College of Science and Commerce, Srinagar, an autonomous institution affiliated with the University of Kashmir and NAAC-accredited Grade ‘A,’ has announced admissions for its innovative Design Your Degree (DYD) undergraduate programme for the academic session 2024-25. Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Part-II Examination in any stream with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
- Reservation policies will follow UT of J&K norms.
Intake
- A total of 20 seats are available, with 10% reserved for self-financed candidates.
Admission Process
- Applicants must complete the online application form on the college website.
- A non-refundable application fee of ₹100 is payable online.
- Based on the number of applicants, selection may involve:
- Class 12th Marks (10%)
- OMR-Based Test (70%)
- Group Discussion (10%)
- Personal Interview (10%)
Alternatively, merit-based selection will include a group discussion and personal interview.
- Selected candidates must complete admission formalities within the stipulated time, failing which the seat will be offered to the next candidate on the merit list.
