The online registration process has been started on the official website of the Army Ordnance Corps (AOC) for several Defence Civilian positions in various Ministry of Defence units and depots from 2nd December 2024 onwards a total of 723 “Group C” posts will be filled up during this recruitment drive.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on or before December 22 by going to aocrecruitment.gov.in, the official website of AOC.

- Junior Office Assistant (JOA): 27
- Civil Motor Driver (OG): 04
- Tele Operator Grade-II: 14
- Fireman: 247
- Carpenter & Joiner: 07
- Painter & Decorator: 05
- MTS: 11
- Tradesman Mate: 389
Age limits:
The age limits for both the Defence Civilian positions in various Ministry posts will be between 18 and 25 and 27 years. However, there will be relaxation as per the rules for the deserving candidates.
Selection Process of AOC Recruitment 2024
The candidate will be selected based on their performances in the following categories:
- Physical Endurance / Skill and Measurement Tests
- Written Test
- Document Verification
- Medical Exam
Salary Details:
Material Assistant (MA) – Rs.29200/- to Rs. 92300/- (Pay Level – 5)
MTS, Tradesman Mate – Rs.18000/- to Rs. 56900/- (Pay Level – 1)
Other Posts – Rs.19900/- to Rs. 63200/- (Pay Level – 2)
