BQE Software is a company that is looking for a Data Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in T-SQL and experience working with Microsoft SQL servers. They will also be proficient in creating views, triggers, stored procedures, and functions.
The Data Engineer will be responsible for developing migration strategies and techniques to ensure the optimal transfer of data from one place to another. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting migration issues, executing set-ups of physical workstations, managing the migration tracking system, and developing migration and integration SQL code for client implementation and upgrades.
The Data Engineer will also be responsible for performing data take on and reconciliation tasks, liaising with Technical Specialists as required. They will also need to ensure that the data migration phase is running to established timescales and attend project meetings with the client to discuss progress and critical issues relating to data migration.

To be qualified for this position, you must have:
- A minimum of two years of working experience on Microsoft SQL servers 2005/2008/2016
- Advanced T-SQL Knowledge
- Expertise with creation of views, triggers, stored procedures and functions
- Good understanding of relational database design, development and backend programming
- Good understanding of C# programming
- Good spoken English
- A minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in a computer science related field
