The Border Security Force (BSF) has announced walk-in interviews for the appointment of Specialist Doctors and General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs) on a contractual basis in the Kashmir region.

Eligibility Criteria:
For Specialist Doctors:
- Recognized medical qualifications as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Postgraduate degree/diploma in the concerned specialty.
- Minimum of 1.5 years’ experience for postgraduate holders and 2 years for diploma holders.
For General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs):
- Recognized medical qualifications as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
Age Limit:
Candidates must not exceed 67 years of age.
Remuneration:
- Specialist Doctors: ₹85,000 per month
- GDMOs: ₹75,000 per month
Period of Contract:
Initial contractual appointment for 3 years, extendable up to 5 years or until attaining the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.

Interested candidates must appear for the interview with:
- Original documents and photocopies (educational certificates, age proof, experience certificates, etc.).
- Application on plain paper specifying the post applied for.
- Five recent passport-sized photographs.
Additional Information:
- The contract does not guarantee regular appointment.
