Recruitment Notice: Senior Residents/Registrars at Government Medical College Baramulla

The Government Medical College Baramulla invites applications from eligible candidates for the positions of Senior Residents/Registrars in various departments. These positions are on an academic arrangement basis under SO 364 of 2020, initially for one year, extendable to a maximum of three years based on work conduct/performance.

Application Procedure

• Application Period: 10th December 2024 to 17th December 2024 (4:00 PM).

Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as of the cutoff date.
2. Candidates with prior residency experience for more than two years are ineligible.

Selection Process

• Candidates will be selected based on performance in the MCQ-based written test scheduled for 17th December 2024. Results will be published on the official website.

General Terms and Conditions

• Selection is provisional, subject to verification by competent authorities.
• The selected candidates must commit to full-time work and will not be allowed private practice.
• A security deposit equivalent to the first month’s salary will be retained and refunded after successful completion of tenure.
