The Department of Microbiology, Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar, invites applications from eligible candidates for contractual engagement under the National Programme on Antimicrobial Resistance Containment. Details are as follows:

Position Details

• Position Name: Infection Control Nurse
• Minimum Qualification:
  • B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution
  • Two years of clinical/hospital-based nursing experience in a Government Hospital
• Number of Positions: 01
• Consolidated Salary: ₹25,000/- per month
• Contract Period: One year (extendable based on scheme continuation and performance).

Important Dates

Terms and Conditions

1. The engagement is purely contractual and does not confer any claim to regular or permanent appointment.
2. Selected candidates must submit an affidavit declaring they will not claim regular employment in the future.
3. Contract may be extended based on performance, budget availability, and scheme continuation.
4. Termination requires one month’s prior notice by either party, or forfeiture of salary for that period.
5. No TA/DA will be provided for interviews or tests.
6. Candidates must adhere to assigned duties under the project.
