ITBP Announces Recruitment for Sub-Inspectors (Staff Nurses), Assistant Sub-Inspectors (Pharmacists) and Head Constables (Midwives)
The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has announced a recruitment drive for Sub-Inspectors (Staff Nurses), Assistant Sub-Inspectors (Pharmacists) and Head Constables (Midwives).
Eligibility:
- Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse):
- Age limit: 21 to 30 years (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and Ex-Servicemen)
- Educational qualifications:
- 10+2 examination passed from a recognized board or university
- General Nursing and Midwifery examination passed
- Registered with Central Nursing Council or State Nursing Council
- Desirable: Three years experience as a Nurse
- Assistant Sub-Inspector (Pharmacist):
- Age limit: 20 to 28 years (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and Ex-Servicemen)
- Educational qualifications:
- Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) Examination with physics, chemistry and biology as subjects from a recognized Board
- Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
- Registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948
- Head Constable (Midwife) (Female Only):
- Age limit: 18 to 25 years (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and Ex-Servicemen)
- Educational qualifications:
- Passed 10th examination from a recognized Board
- Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery Course from a recognized institution
- Registered in Nursing Council of Central Government or State Government

Selection Process:
The selection process will consist of a written test, a physical test, a medical examination, and a document verification process.
