Assistant Professors (Contractual) Positions at Islamic University of Science and Technology
The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) in Awantipora, Kashmir, is inviting applications for Assistant Professors (contractual) positions in the following subjects:
- English
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
The positions are for the current academic session, 2024, or until the posts are filled on a permanent basis.
Eligibility:
- Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in English from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university, and NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D.
- B.E. / B. Tech/ B.S. and M.E. / M. Tech./ M.S. or integrated M. Tech. in relevant branch with 1st class or equivalent in any one of the degrees OR Ph.D. from an institution of national importance with GATE/GPAT/CEED directly after the Bachelor’s degree.

Cancellation of NIT for Supply of Refreshment Items
The Chief Medical Officer/Vice-Chairman District Health Society, Ganderbal, has issued a notice canceling the Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) for the supply of refreshment items during the financial year 2024-25. The NIT was issued under endorsement No. DRHS/NHM/Gbl/2024-25/1030-33 dated 15-07-2024 and invited on JK tenders under Bid No. 2024-HME-253147-1.
The cancellation is due to poor response to the NIT.
