Recruitment Notice for Sangini (Anganwadi Worker) in B.K. Pora, J&K
The Office of the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) B.K. Pora, Jammu and Kashmir, has released an advertisement (No. 11 of 2024) dated 12th August 2024, inviting applications for the recruitment of Sangini (Anganwadi Worker) in the Anganwadi Centers of the Poshan Project B.K. Eligibility Criteria
Domicile: Candidates must be domiciles of the Union Territory (UT) of J&K.

Age: Women candidates aged between 18-37 years are eligible.
Residency: The candidate should be a resident of the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
Education: Minimum qualification required is 10+2 with graduation preferred. Candidates with higher qualifications will be considered only if no other qualified candidate is available.
Preference: Preference will be given to candidates from the nearest ward if no eligible candidates are available within the specified ward.
Selection Process
Selection is based on merit and adherence to the specified eligibility criteria.
Candidates related to retiring AWW/AWH or available within the family of retiring AWWs/AWHs will receive an additional two percent points.

Application Process
Candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed format, provided in Annexure “A” of the notification. Applications must include all necessary documents such as educational qualifications, age proof, domicile certificate, and other relevant certificates. Applications with discrepancies or forged documents will be rejected.
The maximum qualification considered will be graduation.
