J&K Mission Youth Announces Last Opportunity for Document Verification and Counseling under LG’s Super 75 Scholarship Scheme
The Government of Jammu & Kashmir, under the Office of the Chief Executive Officer, Mission Youth, has released a notification for a last and final opportunity for document verification and counseling for candidates under the Mission Youth LG’s Super 75 Scholarship Scheme (B) for the year 2024. This opportunity is directed at candidates who previously missed their scheduled document verification due to various reasons.
Background and Context
The Mission Youth initiative, launched by the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, provides scholarship opportunities for meritorious youth under the Super 75 (B) scheme. After an online application process, 401 candidates submitted applications. However, due to a low turnout for document verification sessions held earlier this year, Mission Youth has decided to offer a final round for those candidates who could not participate previously.
Eligibility and Final Opportunity
Following a review of candidate submissions and representations, the Mission Youth office has approved 24 candidates (16 females and 8 males) for this last document verification and counseling round. Eligible candidates are listed in the notification, along with their parentage, addresses, mobile numbers, and details of the specific venues and dates for counseling. This round is mandatory, and failing to attend may lead to cancellation of the scholarship opportunity.
Document Verification Schedule
The counseling sessions will take place at the Civil Secretariat in Jammu and Srinagar on November 5, 2024, with room numbers and assigned officers specified for each candidate. The list includes candidates from districts such as Rajouri, Poonch, Anantnag, Srinagar, Pulwama, and others, who have been given a specific time and venue for verification.
Required Documents
Candidates are required to bring the following original documents along with one self-attested copy for the document verification process:
- Domicile Certificate and Ration Card
- Family Income Certificate (issued within the last 6 months)
- Aadhaar Card
- Date of Birth Certificate/Matriculation Certificate
- Graduate and Postgraduate Mark Sheets
- Scorecard of PG/PhD entrance exams (if applicable)
