JKBOPEE Conducts 2nd Round of Online Preferences for BAMS/BUMS/ BHMS/ BPT Courses 2025 – Check Eligibility, Schedule & Full Details
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has officially announced the conduct of the 2nd Round of Online Submission of Preferences/Allotment for admission to BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, and BPT Courses – 2025 in Government and Private Colleges of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. The notification (No. 181-BOPEE of 2025) was issued on 26 November 2025.
This second round of counselling has been announced after the Board received the final list of vacant seats from various institutions, including those that remained unfilled during the first round due to non-joining, resignations, or other reasons.
The online window for upgradation / allotment will remain open from:
📅 26 November 2025 (2:00 PM) to 28 November 2025 (Midnight)
All eligible candidates are advised to go through the full details of the notification and submit their preferences within the given schedule.
⭐ Who Can Participate in the 2nd Round of Counselling?
The following candidates are eligible to take part in this round:
1️⃣ Candidates who did not get any seat in the 1st round
2️⃣ Candidates who were allotted seats in 1st round and have joined the colleges
3️⃣ Candidates allotted seats in 1st round but could not join due to:
- Deficient or invalid documents
- Non-submission of fee
- Late reporting or other valid issues
4️⃣ Candidates who resigned before the last date of admission of their allotted seat in 1st round
5️⃣ Registered NEET-UG 2025 candidates who did not participate in 1st round
➡️ These candidates must deposit a counselling fee of Rs. 1500/- (non-refundable) online and fill out preferences for consideration.
💰 Counselling Fee Details
Only those candidates will be allotted seats who:
✔ Have paid Rs. 1500/- counselling fee online
✔ Submit online preferences before 28 November 2025
💡 Candidates who already paid during the first round do not need to pay again.
🪑 Seat Allotment Rules (Important)
The seat matrix will be uploaded on JKBOPEE’s official website before the start of the online preference filling.
Some important guidelines:
- Only vacant seats will be allotted in this round after resolving deficiencies.
- Vacant seats under Open Merit (OM) will go to OM candidates.
- Seats left by reserved category candidates will be allotted based on merit-cum-preference.
- If a reserved seat is allotted to a reserved category candidate under rule 17 in Round-1, the freed OM seat will go to an OM candidate.
- Allotments will be made strictly as per NEET merit and choices submitted.

Students must remember:
- Filling preferences does not guarantee admission
- Upgradation/allotment will only be confirmed after eligibility verification at the college
- Documents must be valid and complete during admission/reporting
Failure to report on time may result in cancellation of allotted seat.

- Seats vacated during this round due to upgradation will also be filled based on merit-cum-preference
- Candidates in the Provisional Merit List (Notification No.163-BOPEE of 2025) are eligible
- All previous rules, instructions, and notifications remain applicable
