Documents Required at the Time of Admission

All provisionally selected candidates must carry the following documents in original while reporting to the allotted colleges/institutions:

1. Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh.
   • For Ladakh candidates: ST certificate issued by the Competent Authority of Ladakh will be treated as domicile.
2. Qualifying Marks Certificate (12th Class mark sheet/certificate).
3. Date of Birth Certificate (Only Matriculation Certificate issued by the Board will be accepted).
4. Valid Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable).
5. Any Other Certificate required by the concerned college/institution as per rules.

Instructions for Heads of Institutions

1. Admission Counters to Remain Open:
   Colleges must ensure admission counters remain open, including on holidays/off-days, to facilitate students.
2. Concealment of Information:
   If any candidate conceals or hides information at the time of admission, their candidature will be cancelled. Additionally, a fine/penalty may also be imposed.
3. Allotment of Seats:
   The allotment of seats has been made strictly in accordance with the S.O. 176 of 2024 dated 15-03-2024 and S.O. 503 dated 21-05-2024.
4. Validity of Category Certificates:
   The last date of validity for category certificates is 15-09-2025. No category certificate issued after this date will be entertained for the current admission process.
5. Special Cases (Persons with Disabilities):
   • If a candidate with a disability is provisionally selected, the college/institution must refer the case to a Medical College for the constitution of a Special Medical Board.
   • The board will assess whether the candidate meets the prescribed disability benchmarks.
   • Candidates failing to meet benchmarks will not be admitted.
6. Record Keeping:
   Heads of institutions must maintain a proper record of admissions and report shortfalls to JKBOPEE positively by 26th September 2025 at 4:30 PM.
