JKBOSE Issues Revised Dates for Postponed Class 10th and 11th (Private/Bi-Annual) 2025 Exams
The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially released the revised date sheet for the postponed papers of Class 10th and Class 11th Annual (Private)/Bi-Annual 2025 Examinations. The notification was issued by the Academic Division of JKBOSE on Tuesday.
Earlier, these examinations were scheduled to be held on September 10, 2025 (Wednesday). However, the board had to postpone them due to law and order issues in certain parts of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Now, JKBOSE has confirmed the new schedule for the postponed exams as follows:
Revised Examination Schedule
- Class 11th (HSE Part-I) Subjects:
Physics, Home Science (Elective), History, Public Administration, Management of Resources, Business Mathematics- Date of Exam: 25th September 2025 (Thursday)
- Class 10th (SSE) Subject:
English- Date of Exam: 26th September 2025 (Friday)
Venue and Timing Unchanged
The board has clarified that the timing and venue of the examinations will remain the same as notified earlier. Only the exam dates have been rescheduled.
Official Statement
In its official notification, JKBOSE stated:
“It is hereby notified for the information of all the concerned that the examination of the papers of ongoing Classes 10th and 11th Annual (Private)/Bi-Annual 2025 examination, which was earlier scheduled on 10-09-2025 (Wednesday) but was postponed due to law and order problems in some parts of J&K UT, shall now be held as per the revised schedule.”
Important Instructions for Students
- Students must carry their admit cards to the examination centres as usual.
- Fresh admit cards are not required, as the previous ones remain valid.
- Candidates are advised to reach their exam centres well in time to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
Copy of Notification Circulated
The notification has been circulated to:
- Administrative Secretary, School Education Department J&K
- Director, School Education Jammu/Ladakh/Kashmir
- District Development Commissioners of J&K and Ladakh
- Inspector Generals of Police of UTs of J&K and Ladakh
- Controller of Examinations and other relevant officials
With the revised schedule now in place, students appearing for Class 10th English paper and Class 11th science and humanities subjects can continue their preparation accordingly. JKBOSE has urged all candidates to stay updated with official announcements and follow the instructions issued.
