J&K Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2024 – Age Limit Extension and Application Deadline Update
The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued a corrigendum to Notification No. 04-PSC(DR-P) of 2024, dated 26th July 2024, regarding the J&K Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2024.
As per the recent notification (Ref. No. S.O 539 dated 9th November 2024), the eligibility age criteria have been revised. The age limits, effective as of 1st January 2024, are as follows:
- Open Merit (OM): Age limit up to 35 years. Candidates born between 1st January 1989 and 1st January 2003 are eligible.
- Reserved Category and In-Service Candidates: Age limit up to 37 years. Eligible birth dates are between 1st January 1987 and 1st January 2003.
- Physically Challenged Candidates: Age limit up to 38 years. Eligible birth dates are between 1st January 1986 and 1st January 2003.
In addition, the deadline for online application submissions has been extended to 2nd December 2024. All eligible candidates are encouraged to apply before this date to ensure consideration for the examination.
