JKSSB Announces Revised Document Verification Schedule for Junior Assistant Posts

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued a revised notification regarding the document verification of candidates under consideration for the Junior Assistant posts. This supersedes the earlier notification (No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/32/2024-03) dated 31-10-2024.

Revised Document Verification Dates and Venue

Candidates listed in Annexure “A” are required to appear in person before the Document Verification Committee(s) for the verification and scrutiny of their documents. The process is scheduled to take place from 10-12-2024 to 17-12-2024 at the designated venue mentioned in the notification.

Final Opportunity for Clubbing Requests

For candidates who had applied for multiple advertisements but found discrepancies in their application details (name/roll number missing in Annexure “B”), the JKSSB had provided an opportunity to submit clubbing requests by 04-11-2024 in offline mode. The requests have now been reviewed, and updated Annexures “A” and “B” have been issued.

Documents Required for Verification

Candidates must bring original documents along with one set of self-attested copies. The required documents are:

1. Copy of the application form.
2. Two recent passport-size color photographs.
3. Original photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter Card, PAN Card, Passport, etc.).
4. Date of Birth Certificate (10th Diploma/Marks Card).
5. Valid category certificate (for reserved categories).
6. Domicile Certificate.
7. Graduation degree from a recognized university.
8. Prescribed qualifications/certificates as per the advertisement.
9. Bonafide certificate (for qualifications obtained outside the UT of J&K).
10. Checklist sheet/form (as per Annexure “C”).
11. Order of preferences for posts/advertisements (as per Annexure “D”).

Important Instructions

• Candidates failing to appear on the scheduled date will forfeit their right to selection.
• The document verification process is final, and no further claims will be entertained by the Board.
