JKSSB Latest Notifications and Updates – April 2025
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released several important updates pertaining to recruitment, document verification, and other administrative matters. Below are the latest notifications for the benefit of aspiring candidates and concerned employees:
1. Syllabus Notification for Wildlife Guard Post
JKSSB has released the syllabus for the post of Wildlife Guard in the Department of Forest, Ecology & Environment. Candidates are advised to review the syllabus thoroughly to prepare effectively for the upcoming examination.
2. Document Verification – Junior Stenographer/Junior Scale Stenographer
Candidates who fall under the consideration zone for the posts of Junior Stenographer/Junior Scale Stenographer are hereby notified about the schedule for Document Verification (DV). It is crucial for shortlisted candidates to appear with all the requisite documents within the stipulated timeframe.

3. Additional Document Verification – Assistant Labour Procurement Officer & Copy Holder (English)
Additional candidates have been called for DV for the following posts:
- Assistant Labour Procurement Officer, Home Department (UT Cadre) – advertised via Notification No. 06 of 2020, Item No. 229.
- Copy Holder (English), ARI & Training Department (Div. Cadre Jammu) – advertised via Notification No. 05 of 2020, Item No. 169.
Eligible candidates should ensure timely attendance and carry all required documents.
4. Tentative Seniority List Released
JKSSB has published the Tentative Seniority List for employees under its establishment as of 01.01.2025. Concerned employees are advised to verify their details and report any discrepancies within the given deadline.
5. Extension of Online Application Deadline – Junior Engineers (Electrical)
The last date for submitting online applications for UT/Divisional Cadre posts of Junior Engineers (Electrical) from various Power Development Department Corporations has been extended. These positions were advertised under Notification No. 02 of 2025 dated 27.02.2025. Interested applicants should make use of the extended timeline to complete their submissions.
