JKSSB Updates: Key Announcements for September 2024

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has recently released several important notifications and updates for various recruitment processes. Here’s a brief overview of the key announcements:

1. Provisional Answer Key for Patwari Written Examination
The provisional answer key for the written examination held on 1st September 2024 for the post of Patwari in the Revenue Department has been released. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access the answer key to evaluate their performance. Objections, if any, can be raised within the stipulated time.

2. Rescheduling of PET/PST for Forest, Ecology, and Environment Department
The Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for various posts in the Forest, Ecology, and Environment Department have been rescheduled. Candidates are advised to check the updated schedule on the official JKSSB website to avoid any inconvenience.

3. Final Selection List for Class-IV Posts
The final selection list-cum-allocation of cadres and departments for the remaining Class-IV posts, under the Jammu & Kashmir Appointment to Class-IV (Special Recruitment) Rules, 2020, has been published. The notification also addresses the cancellation of withheld Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates, ensuring a clear and transparent recruitment process.

4. Supplementary Document Verification Notifications
JKSSB has issued notifications regarding the supplementary document verification for candidates falling under the consideration zone for various posts. The document verification sessions were held on 19th and 23rd May 2024. Candidates in the consideration zone must ensure their documents are complete and up to date to avoid disqualification.

5. Provisional Answer Key for Junior Assistant Examination
The provisional answer key for the written examination conducted on 25th August 2024 for the post of Junior Assistant has also been made available. Candidates are encouraged to review the key and submit objections if necessary.
