The University of Kashmir has officially released Admission Notification No. 01 of 2026 inviting online applications for admission to various Diploma and Certificate programmes offered in Distance Mode for the January–February 2026 academic session. These programmes are offered through the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), University of Kashmir, and provide a golden opportunity for students, working professionals, and lifelong learners to upgrade their skills and qualifications.

Mode of Selection
The selection of candidates will be done purely on the basis of:
Academic merit in the qualifying examination
There will be no entrance test. Admissions will be finalized strictly as per the University of Kashmir Admission Policy.
How to Apply Online – Step-by-Step Guide
Candidates must submit their applications only through the online mode. Below are the official steps to apply :
Step 1
Visit:
Click on “Admissions” and read the instructions carefully.
Step 2
Click on “Register as Student” and complete the registration process.
Note your Username and Password for future use.
Step 3
Log in using your Registration Number and proceed to fill out the application form.
Step 4
Enter all required personal and academic details and upload your latest passport-size photograph.
Step 5
Review the details, make corrections if required, and click Submit.
Take a printout of the application form and note the Form Number.
Step 6
Pay the application fee of ₹550 through online mode only.
Step 7
After three days, log in again and verify that the Application Status shows “Fee Received.”
If it does not, the form will be treated as incomplete.
Step 8
Candidates are advised not to wait until the last day due to possible website traffic and payment issues.
Submission of Hard Copy
As per the University notification, candidates do NOT need to submit any hard copy of the application form to the University .
However, applicants should keep a printed copy of their form for future reference.
Fee Reconciliation & Queries
After submitting the online form, candidates must check their fee status after three days. If the fee reconciliation is pending, candidates should contact the University immediately .
