Krishi Udyami Recruitment 2026 in Anantnag: Apply for Agricultural Entrepreneur Posts

The Government of Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, through the Office of the Chief Agriculture Officer, Anantnag, has issued a re-advertisement notice for the engagement of Krishi Udyamis (KUs) / Agricultural Entrepreneurs under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP).

As per Notification No. 36 Estt of CAO 2026, dated 15 January 2026, eligible candidates are invited to apply in the prescribed format for contractual engagement in District Anantnag.

Overview of Krishi Udyami Recruitment 2026

Number of Vacancies

• Phase I: 04 posts
• Phase II: 11 posts
  (Village/area-wise list is enclosed in Annexure-I of the notification)

Engagement Duration

• Initial engagement for 2 years
• Extendable annually based on satisfactory performance under the programme

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:

Essential Qualifications

• Diploma in Agriculture or Allied Fields
  OR
• Bachelor’s Degree (BSc/BSc-Vocational) in Agriculture or Allied Fields

Eligible Allied Fields Include:

• Agriculture
• Horticulture
• Veterinary Sciences
• Forestry
• Fisheries
• Sericulture
• Agricultural Engineering
• BHT / BAT

(Qualification must be from a Government-recognized institution)

Additional Preference

• Post-Graduation in Agriculture/Science/Allied subjects
• Computer Diploma or Certification (minimum 3 months)

Age Limit (as on last date of submission)

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 45 Years

Job Profile

Selected Krishi Udyamis will:

• Operate Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) at the Panchayat level
• Work under the framework of HADP for delivery of agricultural services
• Promote entrepreneurship, farmer facilitation, and agri-extension services
• Coordinate with Agriculture Department officials and allied departments

Remuneration

• Engagement is on a self-earning / entrepreneur basis
• No fixed salary
• Income generation through service delivery as per approved norms
• Detailed operational and revenue guidelines are provided in Annexure-IV

Application Fee & Security Deposit

• Refundable Security Deposit: ₹10,000
• To be deposited after selection in the form of Fixed Deposit Receipt (FDR) from a scheduled commercial bank

Required Infrastructure

• Selected candidates must arrange 750–800 sq. ft. space for KKG
• Space can be owned or rented
• No financial assistance will be provided for infrastructure

Documents Required

Self-attested copies of the following documents must be attached:

• Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation)
• Marks Certificates of all qualifying examinations
• Domicile Certificate
• Character Certificate from competent authority
• Panchayat Ward Certificate issued by concerned BDO
