Srinagar, Sep 18 (KNO): The students of the B.ED 2020 batch Monday staged a protest against the University of Kashmir, demanding a separate examination or an extension of dates.
Scores of students gathered at Srinagar’s press enclave, holding placards in their hands, demanded justice.
The group of students, while speaking to the media, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), demanded a separate examination or an extension of dates.
“We are regular students, but our examination is being conducted through distance courses, and the problem is that distance students were issued a date sheet four months ago, while we received ours only four days ago. We have approached the university authorities many times, but they haven’t listened to our pleas,” said a female student.
“The distance students have had much more time to prepare, but we are being given just four days to appear in the examinations, which is sheer injustice,” the students said and demanded early redressal of their grievances—(KNO)
