Weather Update for Jammu & Kashmir
The Meteorological Centre in Srinagar has issued the latest weather forecast for Jammu & Kashmir, highlighting significant weather changes over the next few days.
Forecast:
– 24th-26th July: Expect brief spells of rain and thundershowers at isolated locations in the Kashmir Division. In the Jammu Division, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are anticipated in many areas.
– 27th-31st July: There will be intermittent light to moderate rain and thundershowers at various places.
– 1st-3rd August: Similar weather patterns will continue, with light to moderate rain and thundershowers at many locations.
Advisory ⚠:
– Intense Showers: Brief periods of intense rainfall could lead to landslides, mudslides, and shooting stones, especially in vulnerable areas of the Jammu Division.
– Hot & Humid Weather: Kashmir Division will experience hot and humid conditions until July 26th.
