Police cracks whip on stunt bikers in Baramulla; 03 bikers booked
June 04: In a bid to maintain public safety and curb reckless behaviour on the roads, Police in Baramulla cracks whip on stunt bikers and booked 03 persons involved in reckless stunt biking.
A police party of Police Station Baramulla led by SHO PS Baramulla, seized 03 two-wheelers and booked 03 persons who were involved in stunt biking in Town Baramulla. They have been identified as Umar Hassan Dar son of Mohd Maqbool Dar resident of Renji Pattan, Faheem Maqbool Tantary son of Mohd Maqbool Tantary resident of Shirpora Pattan & Sahid Ahmad Dar son of Mohd Abdullah Dad resident of Puthar Tappar Pattan.
Accordingly, a Case under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Baramulla and investigation taken up.
Police has been closely monitoring the increasing instances of stunt biking in various areas. These dangerous activities not only pose a significant threat to the lives of the bikers themselves but also endanger the lives of innocent bystanders and motorists on the roads. Police considers this behaviour a serious violation of traffic laws and a major public safety concern.
