The Advanced Research Station for Saffron &Temperate Seed Spices, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir, is seeking qualified candidates to fill the positions of Junior Research Fellow and Technical Assistant for a research project titled “In-vivo and in-vitro mutation breeding – A potential approach for genetic improvement in Saffron (Crocus sativus L.)”. The project is sponsored by the Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Mumbai.

Eligibility Criteria
Junior Research Fellow
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc (Agri./Horti.)
- Desirable: PhD with specialization in Saffron, 2 years experience in saffron cultivation
Technical Assistant
- Essential Qualification: Graduate
- Desirable: 3 years field experience in saffron crop
