Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) invites applications for the position of Young Professional-II in the Division of Aquatic Animal Health Management, Faculty of Fisheries. This recruitment is part of the NSPAAD Phase-II project, sponsored by the Government of India through NBFGR (ICAR) and PMMSY.

Position Details

• Position: Young Professional-II
• Number of Vacancies: 01 (One)
• Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in
  • Aquatic Animal Health Management
  • Fish Health Management
  • FRM/Aquaculture/FGB/AEM
• Desirable Qualification: Candidates with knowledge of fish disease diagnosis/Molecular Diagnosis will be preferred.

Terms and Conditions

1. The engagement will be for an initial period of six months, extendable based on performance.
2. This is a temporary appointment and will end with the completion of the project.
3. Selected candidates will have no claim for absorption in the university.
4. The selected candidate must join within 15 days from the date of issuance of the selection order. Otherwise, the next candidate in the merit list will be considered.
5. The selected candidate must sign a bond on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 20, duly attested by a judicial magistrate, agreeing to the terms and conditions.
6. The hired candidate will work under the Principal Investigator’s directions in both laboratory and field settings.
