SSC Recruitment Notification 2023 Apply online for 36000 posts, Last date, 12th pass eligible

   

SSC Recruitment 2023: The Service Selection Commission (SSC) has advertised for bumper vacancies in their latest notification. There are a total of as many as 36,001 vacancies for which the applications start online from May 9, 2023.

As per the SSC CHSL Recruitment 2023 official notification published on their official website, there is a total of 36001 vacancies. According to the official notification on the website, candidates applying for the posts should be 18 years and above and upto the age of 27 years.

Number of Posts: 

There are a total of as many as 36,001 vacancies across various positions.

Application Fees:

An application fees of Rs. 100/- shall be charged from the candidates who apply for the various advertised posts.

However, for the following candidates that is: SC, Women, ST, PWD, Ex Serviceman, application forms shall be free.

The payment shall be accepted online, said the notification clearly.

Apply Online Starting Date: 9/5/2023

Apply Online Last Date: 8/6/2023

Last date for receipt of online applications: 8/6/2023

Last date for fee payment: 10/6/2023

Last date for Challan generation: 11/6/2023

Exam Dates:

Tier-I examination (Computer Based Examination): August 2023

Tier-I examination (Computer Based Examination): To be notified later

Age Limit:

Minimum Age: 18 Years

Maximum Age: 27 Years

There shall be the required age relaxation according to the government specified norms and notifications, read the official notification.

Qualification for the post:  

Interested candidates for the advertised posts should have passed at least 12th Class/ equivalent examination from a recognized Board/ University.

Examination Pattern:

The Tier-I Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set in English, Hindi and any language opted by the candidate in the application form.

Vacancies:
2.1 Tentative vacancies: There are approx. 1600 vacancies. However, firm number of
vacancies will be determined in due course. Updated vacancies, if any, along with
post-wise & category-wise vacancies will be made available on the website of the
Commission (https://ssc.nic.in> Candidate’s Corner> Tentative Vacancy) in due
course. Candidates may note that State-wise/ Zone-wise vacancies are not collected
by the Commission.

3. Reservation:
3.1 Reservation for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward
Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates for all the categories of
posts/services, wherever applicable and admissible, would be as determined and
communicated by the Indenting Ministries/ Departments/ Offices/ Cadres, as per
extant Government Orders.
3.2 The Commission makes the selection of candidates in accordance with the vacancies
reported by the Indenting Departments/ Organizations for various posts. The
Commission does not have any role in deciding the number of vacancies of any
Indenting Department/ Organization. Implementation of reservation policy,
maintaining reservation roster, earmarking of vacancies for different categories and
identification of suitability of posts for suitable for various benchmark disabilities,
are under the domain of the Indenting Departments/ Organizations.
3.3 The Commission will consider the suitability of posts for various benchmark
disabilities under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016 in
accordance with Notification No. 38-16/2020-DD-III dated 04.01.2021 issued by
Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of
Social Justice and Empowerment or as identified and intimated by the Indenting
Departments/ Organizations for specific posts, as detailed below:

AAV=Acid Attack Victims, MDy= Muscular Dystrophy, SD= Spinal Deformity,
SI= Spinal Injury, ASD= Autism Spectrum Disorder (M= Mild, MoD= Moderate),
ID= Intellectual Disability, SLD= Specific Learning Disability, MI= Mental Illness,
MD=Multiple Disabilities
 Physical Requirements: S=Sitting, ST=Standing, W=Walking, BN=Bending,
MF=Manipulation with Fingers, RW=Reading & Writing, SE=Seeing, H=Hearing,
C=Communication.
4. Nationality/ Citizenship:
4.1 A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka,
East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of
Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia
and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
4.2 Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c) and (d) above shall be a
person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government
of India.
4.3 A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to
the Examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after, the necessary
eligibility certificate has been issued to him (hereinafter may be read as ‘him/ her’)
by the Government of India.
5. Age Limit (As on 01-08-2023):
5.1 The crucial date for age reckoning is fixed as 01-08-2023 in accordance with the
provisions of DoP&T OM No. 140l7 /70/87-Estt.(RR) dated 14-07-1988. Age
limit for the posts is 18-27 years i.e. Candidates born not before 02-08-1996 and
not later than 01-08-2005 are eligible to apply.
5.2 Permissible relaxation in upper age limit for different categories in accordance with
extant Rules/ guidelines of Government of India are as under:

Essential Educational Qualifications (As on 01-08-2023):
8.1 For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ in the Office of Comptroller
and Auditor General of India (C&AG), Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and
Public Distribution, and Ministry of Culture: 12th Standard pass in Science stream
with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
8.2 For LDC/ JSA and DEO/ DEO Grade ‘A’ (except DEOs in Department/
Ministry mentioned at Para 8.1 above): Candidates must have passed 12th Standard
or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
8.3 The candidates who have appeared in their 12th Standard or equivalent examination
can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification on or before the cut-
off date i.e. 01-08-2023.
