Prescribed Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements:
- A Master’s Degree in Demography, Population Studies, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, or Geography with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
- Candidates with a postgraduate degree in other disciplines must have completed a minimum one-year regular course in Demography/Population Studies.
- Other Criteria:
- Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
- Eight years of teaching/research experience equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor in a university or accredited institution.
- Published research of high quality, particularly related to MoHFW’s health schemes.
- Publications:
- Minimum seven publications in peer-reviewed UGC-listed journals.
- Fulfillment of UGC’s academic/research criteria.
