Update regarding End term exams in KU and Cluster University Srinagar
Amid rising calls and messages from students asking for clarification over examinations being scheduled during the winter break, top officials at the University of Kashmir told Daily Spark News that the administration has taken note of the concern. The Controller of Examinations will review all datesheets issued by various departments, with necessary corrections expected within 2–3 days to ensure adherence to winter vacation guidelines.
Meanwhile, officials at Cluster University Srinagar clarified that no exams will be held during the vacation period. They said that the earlier schedule for 1st semester students has been revised, and no examinations of any semester will be conducted during the break.
Both KU and CUS authorities reiterated that, as per the Academic Calendar 2022, no department is authorised to conduct exams during the notified winter vacations.
