The candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board to apply for the SSC MTS 2023.
SSC MTS Recruitment 2023 – Age Limit
- 18-25 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02.08.1998 and not later than 01.08.2005) for MTS and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue).

SSC MTS Salary 2023 Details
For Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Posts – Pay Level-1 as per Pay Matrix of 7th Pay Commission. The in-hand salary for SSC MTS & Havaldar lies in the range of 18,000/- to 22,000/ per month with a pay band of Rs. 5200 – Rs. 20200 depending of the job post and city allocated.
SSC MTS Recruitment 2023 – Selection Process
- The recruitment process for the post of MTS will consist of Session-I and Session-II in Computer Based Examination (CBE).
- The recruitment process for the post of Havaldar will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST).
Note: Computer Based Examination will be conducted in two Sessions: Session-I and Session-II and both Sessions will be mandatory to be attempted.
