UPSC CSE Result 2023 Declared Merit List, Toppers List, Rank, Qualified list
NEW DELHI: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final result of the Civil Services Examination, 2022 on May 23, 2023. Ishita Kishore topped the civil services examination 2022. Garima Lohia and Uma Harithi N secured the second and third ranks respectively in the coveted examination, according to the results.
As many as 933 candidates qualified the civil services examination. Among these, there are 345 candidates from the General category, 99 candidates from the EWS category, 263 candidates from the OBC category, 154 candidates from the SC category, and 72 candidates from the ST category, making up the comprehensive list of successful candidates.
In addition to the recommended candidates, the UPSC Final Result 2022 also includes a Reserve List of candidates. This Reserve List comprises 178 candidates, with 89 candidates from the General category, 28 candidates from the EWS category, 52 candidates from the OBC category, 5 candidates from the SC category, and 4 candidates from the ST category.

The UPSC Final Result 2022 reveals that a total of 1022 vacancies are to be filled across various services. These vacancies are distributed among different categories as follows: 434 for General, 99 for EWS, 263 for OBC, 154 for SC, and 72 for ST candidates. The services include I.A.S., I.F.S., I.P.S., Central Services Group ‘A’, and Group ‘B’ Services.

The UPSC Civil Services Examination is one of the most competitive exams in the world. It is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to select officers for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and other Group A and B civil services.

A total of 2,529 candidates qualified for the Personality Test of the examination, out of which 933 candidates (613 men and 320 women) have been recommended by the Commission for appointment to various Services.
