ICAR-CITH Conducts Walk-In-Interview for Young Professional-II Position
ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture (ICAR-CITH) in Srinagar is conducting a Walk-In-Interview on 28.11.2023 at 11:00 AM for the temporary position of Young Professional-II under the Main Institute & NEH scheme. The eligibility criteria include essential qualifications, age between 21 to 45 years, and selection based on a point system involving qualifications, experience, publications, and a personal interview.
Candidates must bring a typed bio-data, experience certificates, original and attested photocopies of qualification certificates, and passport-size photographs for verification. The selection process awards points for essential qualification, Ph.D., experience, publications, and awards, with a significant emphasis on the personal interview.
Selected candidates will be engaged on a contractual basis initially for one year, extendable based on performance. Emoluments will be as per government norms, and candidates should adhere to SOPs issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Union territory of J&K during the walk-in-interview.
It’s noteworthy that the appointment is on a full-time basis, and candidates must not take up any other assignment during the engagement. The Director of ICAR-CITH reserves the right to terminate services without notice, and selected candidates cannot claim regular appointment as the positions are purely temporary. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the Walk-In-Interview. The appointee must give a two-month prior intimation before leaving the engagement and submit a complete report to the Principal Investigator.
