Srinagar 27 Nov (DS): Apni party president Syed Muhammad Altaf Bukhari in a recent interview made a bold commitment to regularise all casual labourers within the first 30 days of his party coming into power.

Altaf Bukhari in a recent interview with The Typewriter said, we will regularise all casual labourers within the first 30 days if our party comes into power.

This statement comes at a time when the issue of casual labourers has been a hot topic from past many years.

Bukhari didn’t stop at this promise, he also took a strong stance against the current government, accusing them of manipulating tensions to maintain their grip on power. He claimed that the government is ‘joking with people’ and intentionally keeping the situation tense.

Bukhari was satisfied with the government’s new slogan ‘Naya Kashmir’, where Bukhari said that a peaceful environment with no hartals and stone pelting is a clear example of Naya Kashmir.

Bukhari at a same time was seen attacking current government saying that, the administrative management policy is still harboring anti-Kashmir sentiments.

Critics argue that the policy does not adequately address the unique issues and concerns of Jammu and Kashmir, thus perpetuating a sense of alienation, he said.

If ‘Naya Kashmir’ needs to truly emerge, there needs to be a shift in the administrative approach towards their policies that cater to the specific needs and aspirations of the Kashmiri people, Bukhari said. (DS — Daily Spark)
