Distinguished Academician: A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Professor in a University or an equivalent tenure in a reputed research and/or academic administrative organization.
Leadership Experience: Proof of academic leadership with a track record of achievements.
Age Limit: Preferably not more than 65 years of age as of the closing date for applications.
Visva Bharati University Recruitment 2023: Salary and Service Conditions
The appointed Vice Chancellor will receive a fixed monthly pay of Rs. 2,10,000/-, along with a Special Allowance of Rs. 11,250/- and other customary allowances. The terms and conditions of service will adhere to the regulations outlined in the Act, Statutes, and Ordinances of Visva-Bharati University.
Appointment Procedure
The appointment will be made from a panel of names recommended by a Committee established under the provisions of the Visva-Bharati Act, 1951.
