Navigating the Online Application Process for Jammu and Kashmir Social Welfare Department Positions

2. Application Method

3. Registration Process
– Click on the ‘Log-in’ tab to register on the portal.
– Provide a valid email ID and mobile number for OTP-based verification.
4. Application Submission
– After registration, click on the ‘Apply’ tab to access the application form.
– Fill in accurate information in all required fields.
– Click on ‘SAVE & CONTINUE’ to proceed.
5. Photo and Signature Upload
– Upload a recent passport-size photograph (20 KB to 50 KB, Ht. X Wd=4.5X3.5 Cms).
– Upload your signature (10 KB to 20 KB, Ht. X Wd=1.5X3.5 Cms).
6. Verification and Final Submission
– Verify that all information is correct before final submission.

7. Editing and Cancellation
– Once submitted, the application cannot be edited.
– Cancel a wrongly filled application before the deadline; fees are non-refundable.
8. Fee Payment
– Pay the application fee through Net banking, Debit Card, UPI, or Credit Card.
– “Pay Now” link appears after form completion.
– Application ID generated upon successful fee submission.
9. No Hard Copy Submission
– No need to submit a hard copy or printout of the application, except during Document Verification (DV) for shortlisted candidates.
10. Document Verification
– Hard copy/printout required only at the DV stage for shortlisted candidates.
