Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education postpones vocational subjects exam
Srinagar March 5 (KSA): The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has postponed the examination of vocational subjects for class 10th students in the soft zone areas of the UT. The exam, which was originally scheduled for March 7, 2024, has now been rescheduled to April 4, 2024.
The decision to postpone the exam was taken due to “unavoidable circumstances”. The examination of all other subjects will be held as per the original schedule.
The vocational subjects that have been postponed include agriculture, apparels, makeup & home furnishing, automotive, beauty and wellness, health care, IT & ITES, physical education & sports, plumbing, retail, security, telecommunication, tourism and hospitality, and electronics and hardware.

The JKBOSE has released a notification on its website informing students and parents about the postponement of the exam. The notification also states that the exam for all other subjects will be held as per the original schedule —(Kashmir Student Alerts)
