BQE Software is looking for a Data Engineer
BQE Software is a company that offers a variety of IT solutions, including software development, web development, and IT consulting. They are currently looking for a Data Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities
- The Data Engineer will be responsible for developing migration strategies and techniques to ensure the optimal transfer of data from one place to another.
- They will also be responsible for troubleshooting migration issues, executing set-ups of physical workstations, and managing the migration tracking system.
- In addition, the Data Engineer will be responsible for developing migration and integration SQL code for client implementation and upgrades.
- They will also be responsible for performing data take on and reconciliation tasks while liaising with Technical Specialist if required.
- The Data Engineer will also ensure that the data migration phase is running to established time scales and attends project meetings with the client to discuss progress and critical issues relating to data migration.
Proficiencies and Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of working experience on Microsoft SQL servers 2005/2008/2016.
- They will also have advanced T-SQL Knowledge and be an expert with creation of views, triggers, stored procedures and functions.
- The candidate will also have good relational database design, development and backend programming skills.
- A good understanding of C# programming and a good hold on spoken English is also required.
- The minimum qualification for the position is a Bachelor’s degree in a computer science related field.
