JKBOPEE Provisional Merit List/Result for B.E./B.Tech. Admissions 2024
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (J&K BOPEE) has released the provisional merit list/result for candidates who appeared in the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to the B.E./B.Tech. courses for the academic session 2024. The test was conducted on June 9, 2024, at centers in Srinagar and Jammu.

Important Points:
1. Provisional Merit List/Result Announcement:
The merit list/result for all candidates who appeared in the CET has been published. The detailed merit list is available in Annexure-A to this notification.
2. Objections and Representations:
Candidates who have any objections against their results can submit a written representation along with a fee of Rs. 1000. This fee can be paid at BOPEE offices in Srinagar or Jammu. Representations must be submitted within three days of the publication of this notification.
3. Tie-Resolution Policy:
In cases where two or more candidates have obtained the same marks, the tie will be resolved as per the provisions defined in the e-Information Brochure available on the BOPEE website.
4. Document Verification:
– Candidates who were provisionally allowed to appear in the CET must submit pending documents such as Reserved Category Certificates and Domicile Certificates at the time of counseling.
– Those who applied under the CDP (Child of Defense Persons) category must submit their priority certificate within five days of this notification.
– Corrections in particulars (Name, Parentage, DOB, Category Certificate, Gender) must be made within five days of this notification.
5. New S.O 176 Implementation:
The new S.O 176, issued on 15-03-2024 by the Social Welfare Department, affects the reservation policy. Candidates wanting to change their category as per S.O 176 must submit the new category certificate within five days.
6. Counseling Schedule:
– Offline counseling is tentatively scheduled to start from June 30, 2024.
– Detailed counseling schedules will be updated on the official BOPEE website.
