JKBOPEE Announces Provisional Merit List for GNM Lateral Entry Course 2024
The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has released the provisional merit list and results for the Common Entrance Test conducted for admission to the GNM Lateral Entry (L.E) Course-2024. The examination was held on June 9, 2024, at Srinagar and Jammu centers.

Notification Details:
– The results were announced through Notification No. 036-BOPEE of 2024, dated June 26, 2024.
– This notification follows the previous notifications issued by BOPEE (No. 019-BOPEE of 2024 dated April 23, 2024, No. 008-BOPEE of 2024 dated May 16, 2024, and No. 028-BOPEE of 2024 dated June 03, 2024).
Merit List and Results:
– The provisional merit list includes all candidates who appeared for the entrance test.
– The list was prepared based on the candidates’ performance in the test conducted on June 9, 2024.
Resolution of Tie Cases:
– In cases where two or more candidates scored the same marks, the tie was resolved by considering the date of birth, with older candidates being given preference.
Objections and Representations:
– Candidates with objections to their results can submit a written representation along with a fee of Rs. 1000 for re-totaling of marks. This must be done within three days of the notification’s issuance at the BOPEE offices in Srinagar or Jammu.
– No representations will be entertained after the prescribed time limit.

Special Instructions:
– Candidates under the Child of Defense persons (CDP) sub-category must submit their priority certificate within five days of the notification.
– Corrections in personal details such as name, parentage, date of birth, category certificate, and gender should be reported within five days for rectification.
– Fresh representations for category inclusion will not be entertained if the category was not mentioned during the online application.
New Reservation Policy:
– Following the issuance of S.O 176 on March 15, 2024, by the J&K Government, the board will allocate seats strictly according to the new reservation policy. Candidates seeking changes in their category must submit the relevant certificate within five days of the notification.
Counseling and Allotment:
– The schedule for the counseling and allotment of seats will be available on the official BOPEE website.
