Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education Announces Schedule for 2024 Examination Form Submissions
The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released the schedule for the submission of offline Permission cum Examination Forms for the Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) and Higher Secondary Part-II Examination (Class 12th) for the Annual (Private)/Bi-annual 2024 session. This schedule applies to the Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh for both hard and soft zone areas.
According to the notification, the following deadlines have been set for the submission of examination forms:
Secondary School Examination (Class 10th)
1. Submission of Permission cum Examination Forms (offline mode) with statements of Enrollment:
– Fee: ₹1180/- for all re-appear/failure/fresh private candidates, ₹1390/- for candidates with additional/optional subjects (5+)
– Dates: July 4, 2024, to July 18, 2024
2. Submission with late fee of ₹770/-:
– Fee: ₹1950/- for all re-appear/failure/fresh private candidates, ₹2160/- for candidates with additional/optional subjects (5+)
– Dates: July 19, 2024, to July 28, 2024
3. Submission with late fee of ₹1985/-:
– Fee: ₹3165/- for all re-appear/failure/fresh private candidates, ₹3375/- for candidates with additional/optional subjects (5+)
– Dates: July 29, 2024, to August 7, 2024

Higher Secondary Part-II Examination (Class 12th)
1. Submission of Permission cum Examination Forms (offline mode) with statements of Enrollment:
– Fee: ₹1365/- for all re-appear/failure/fresh private candidates, ₹1610/- for candidates with additional/optional subjects (5+)
– Dates: July 4, 2024, to July 18, 2024
2. Submission with late fee of ₹770/-:
– Fee: ₹2135/- for all re-appear/failure/fresh private candidates, ₹2380/- for candidates with additional/optional subjects (5+)
– Dates: July 19, 2024, to July 28, 2024
3. Submission with late fee of ₹1985/-:
– Fee: ₹3350/- for all re-appear/failure/fresh private candidates, ₹3595/- for candidates with additional/optional subjects (5+)
– Dates: July 29, 2024, to August 7, 2024

Important Eligibility Criteria
1. Fresh Private Candidates: Only those who are otherwise eligible.
2. Re-appear/Failure and other eligible candidates: Applies to all previous sessions. As per notification No: 12-F (Acad-c) Chances/B/22 dated March 14, 2022, candidates placed under re-appear category (Re-appear category) have a five-year period from the session in which they were placed under this category to clear their examinations.
3. Additional/Optional Subjects: English only/Completion category candidates of class X and English only/Completion category candidates of class XII must appear afresh in all compulsory subjects.
4. Re-appear Category Candidates: Must have appeared in the Annual Session 2019 (Regular or Fresh Pvt.) or earlier but not completed their examination shall appear afresh in all compulsory subjects.
