Weather Report
A widespread spell of rain was observed in Jammu and Kashmir (except north Kashmir) between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m.
Generally, light to moderate rain was observed in Kashmir parts with a few places recording short-intense thundershowers. The intensity of the system was maximum over south Kashmir parts, followed by central Kashmir.
In Jammu region, heavy rainfall was observed in many areas. Weather station at Samba recorded 92.5 mm of rainfall, Jammu 71.5 mm, and Kathua 60.0 mm.
This will surely bring the temperatures further down for a couple of days and thereafter temperatures will again peak.
