The Office of the Deputy Commissioner/District Development Commissioner, Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir, has issued a re-advertisement notification for the engagement of Krishi Udyami (KUs)/Agricultural Entrepreneurs. This initiative falls under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP Phase-1). The aim is to engage eligible candidates on a contractual basis for two years, extendable based on performance.

1. Position: Krishi Udyami (KU)/Agricultural Entrepreneur
2. Number of Positions: 17 KUs for 17 KKGs of District Budgam
3. Engagement Duration: Initially for 2 years, extendable based on performance.
4. Qualification:
– Diploma or Degree in Agriculture and Allied Fields (BSc/BVSc)
– Preference for candidates with postgraduate qualifications
– Diploma/Certificate in Agri-Extension Services/Business Management is an advantage
5. Age Limit: 18-45 years
6. Job Profile: Involves working on a franchise basis for KKGs, fostering entrepreneurship, local employment, and agricultural production.
7. Honorarium: Rs 10,000 per month

Application Process:
1. Form Submission:
– Collect from the Office of Chief Agriculture Officer, Budgam, or download from official websites (https://jkapd.nic.in or https://hadpjk.gov.in).
– Submission through registered post or in person.
2. Required Documents:
– Date of birth certificate
– Marks certificate of all qualifying exams
– Degree certificate
– Domicile certificate
– Character certificate
3. Deadline: Completed applications to be submitted to the Chief Agriculture Officer, Budgam, by the specified date.
General Terms and Conditions:
– Selected KUs to enter an agreement with APD and submit a refundable security amount of Rs 10,000.
– Operation on a franchise basis with the support of the Agriculture Production Department.
– No regular government appointment rights.
– Continuous engagement with relevant stakeholders and departments.
– Mandatory service period of 3 months after the engagement.
Important Information:
– Successful candidates will be trained and will receive operational support from various agricultural departments and stakeholders.
– They will be integrated into the larger agricultural ecosystem for sustainable agricultural development in Jammu & Kashmir.
