Government of India Announces Scholarships for Students with Disabilities for 2024-25
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, through its Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), has announced scholarships for the academic year 2024-25. The scholarships are aimed at supporting the education of students with disabilities (Divyangjan) and include Pre-matric, Post-matric, and Top Class Education Scholarship Schemes.
Application Process:

2. Eligibility: Applicants must have a benchmark disability of at least 40% and possess a Unique Disability Identity (UDID) or an enrollment number along with a Disability Certificate.
3. Deadlines:
– Pre-Matric Scholarship: Apply by August 31, 2024.
– Post-Matric and Top Class Scholarships: Apply by October 31, 2024.

– The scholarships cover both fresh and renewal cases, with a reservation of 50% slots for female candidates.
