Weather Update for Jammu and Kashmir
Forecast Overview:
July 31: Expect light to moderate rain and thundershowers at many locations in Kashmir Division and widespread areas in Jammu Division.
August 1-5: Generally cloudy skies with intermittent light to moderate rain and thundershowers anticipated at many places in Kashmir Division and most places in Jammu Division.
August 6-7: Scattered locations will experience spells of rain and thundershowers.
August 8-10: Isolated places will witness rain and thundershowers.
Advisory:
Residents are advised to remain cautious as intense showers for brief periods could lead to flash floods, cloudbursts, landslides, mudslides, and shooting stones in vulnerable areas across Jammu and Kashmir. Heavy rainfall is expected at a few places in the Jammu Division.
