JKBOPEE Announces Online Preference Submission for B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Paramedical, and B.Sc. Technology Courses 2024
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (J&K BOPEE) has released a notification (No. 063-BOPEE of 2024) concerning the online submission of preferences for candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Paramedical, and B.Sc. Technology courses for the year 2024. This follows the declaration of the Provisional Merit List for these courses as per Notification No. 033-BOPEE of 2024 dated June 13, 2024.
Key Details:
1. Eligibility and Online Counselling:
– Eligible candidates with secured marks of 180 or above in the Common Entrance Test (CET) up to the rank 9347 in the Provisional Merit List are invited for the first round of online counselling.
– Candidates must verify their Name, Category, Date of Birth, and other details in the Provisional Merit List, and report any discrepancies physically at the BOPEE office in Jammu/Srinagar by August 5, 2024, to ensure timely corrections.
2. Submission of Preferences:
– The online preference submission process will be available from August 7, 2024, to August 12, 2024 (Midnight).
– A counselling fee of Rs. 1000/- must be paid online, with the receipt of payment printed and maintained.
– Candidates wishing to change their preferences after submission must visit the BOPEE office in Jammu/Srinagar by August 12, 2024 (2:00 PM).
3. Document Submission:
– Candidates who have not uploaded required documents (Domicile Certificate, 12th Class Marks Card, etc.) must do so during the online counselling process. Provisional participation is allowed, but eligibility conditions must be met as per Notification No. 015-BOPEE of 2024 dated March 29, 2024.
4. Seat Allocation:
– Seats will be allotted based on S.O. 176 dated May 15, 2024, and S.O. 305 dated May 31, 2024, by the Social Welfare Department, UT of J&K.
– The Seat Matrix will be uploaded on the BOPEE website a day before the start of counselling.
– Course structures are to be verified directly with the respective colleges.
5. Important Notes:
– Submission of preferences does not guarantee admission; eligibility will be verified at the time of admission.
– Candidates not reporting to the allotted college within the stipulated time will lose their seat.
– Admission is provisional and subject to cancellation if discrepancies or false information are found.
– J&K BOPEE reserves the right to make changes due to unforeseen circumstances.
