The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), operating under the Directorate General of Health Services, will commence registration for NEET UG 2024 counselling today. The registration period will remain open until August 20, 2024. This counselling process aims to fill 15 percent of the All India Quota MBBS and BDS seats. Only candidates who have qualified for the NEET exam are eligible to participate. Interested candidates should visit the official MCC website to complete their counselling registration forms.

- On the homepage, locate and click the registration link.
- Enter your credentials to log in and submit
- Fill out the application form and complete the payment fee
- Click on “Submit”
- Download and save the submitted form for future reference

The window for choice filling in the first round of NEET UG 2024 counselling will be open from August 16 to August 20, 2024, closing at 11:55 pm on the final day. During this period, candidates will have the opportunity to select and prioritise their preferred colleges and courses. The option to lock in these preferences will become available starting at 4 pm on August 20. Following this, the processing of seat allotments for the first round will take place between August 21 and August 22, 2024.
The results of the seat allocation will be announced on August 23, 2024. Once the results are declared, candidates who have been allotted seats must report to their assigned colleges between August 24 and August 29, 2024, to complete their admission formalities.
The counselling process will be conducted for 1,09,145 MBBS seats and 27,868 BDS seats. Additionally, 1,000 BSc Nursing seats will also be allocated through this counselling process.
