Government Medical College, Srinagar Selects Senior Residents
Government Medical College, Srinagar has announced the selection of senior residents for various disciplines on an academic arrangement basis. The selection process was based on the notification No. 01-RA of 2024 dated 22.07.2024 and subsequent verification of character and antecedents by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

The following candidates have been provisionally engaged as senior residents for a period of one year, extendable up to three years based on performance:

Terms and Conditions
The appointment of these senior residents is subject to the following terms and conditions:
- Candidates must submit an affidavit before joining the department.
- They cannot participate in any strike during their tenure.
- They must maintain discipline and are not allowed to engage in any criminal activity.
- No experience certificate will be issued if they leave before completing six months.
- Private practice is prohibited during the tenure.
- Candidates must execute an agreement on a prescribed format.
- Candidates must join within 21 days of the issuance of this order.
- The salary will be as per S.O. 564 of 2020 dated 27.11.2000.
